Meer dan 30 jaar geleden is mijn vader begonnen met het verwezenlijken van zijn droom, een eigen wijn chateau in Frankrijk. Omdat hij een top wijn wilde maken, heeft hij hiervoor alles gedaan wat in zijn mogelijkheid lag.
De druiven groeiden op de zonnigste hellingen, in de beste grond. De oogst was handmatig en heel zorgvuldig en de wijn is gemaakt met advies van de toen beste wijnmaker van Bordeaux. En bovenop alles heel veel liefde en aandacht.
Hierdoor zijn de wijnen van Clos Chaumont de beste en hoogst gekwalificeerde van de appellation.
